Covid 19 – Coronavirus Information 19/3/20
Hello! Just wanted to let everyone know we are still here and intend to be here as long as the situation allows.
It obviously goes without saying our main priority is the welfare of our employees and to this effect we’re facilitating working from home for our office staff and being as flexible as we can for our staff on the shop floor.
We want to assure you we don’t envisage problems with supply as long a courier companies are still operating, however we are suspending on premise, in person sales of both cash and card in order to restrict the number of visitors to our factory. Orders can still be placed over the phone or email etc. and collected in person from our warehouse or dispatched by courier. And our web shop is fully functional as normal.

New Machine for Curtain Eyelets
Hanolex anounce the launch of our new HPXc hand press for curtain eyelets. It’s completely designed and built by Hanolex and intended for the busy workroom and builds on the success of our popular HP1000c which it now replaces. The HPXc offers many improvements including the unique ability to be operated from either the front or back. This means that you can comfortably use the machine with the curtain you’re eyeleting laid out on a bench in front of the machine, so no more grappling with material or dragging it along the floor while you operate the press.
The HPXc also features an improved mechanism that makes it a lot easier to operate taking the effort out of eyeleting. It inserts our complete range of curtain eyelet right upto 66mm hole size
Snow & Traffic Problems
Due to severe weather and traffic problems we are unable to despatch orders today (Friday, 2nd of March), hopefully back to normal on Monday.
Also, our couriers are advising us of severe disruption on their networks so orders already in transit could be affected.
We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing, please contact us if you need any assistance.
Friday 18th
Hanolex will be closed today as a mark of respect and to allow staff members to attend the funeral of Tony Agard one of our longest serving employees who tragically passed away last month. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
Consequently we will not be processing and dispatching orders until Monday, thank you for your understanding.
